Software development in emerging markets

We have high respect for newsroom developers. They are always working on new projects under deadlines so libraries and framework they come up with tends to be straightforward and practical. Great projects such as Django come out from the hectic development in the newsroom of Lawrence Journal-World newspaper. The NY Times code blog also frequently highlights APIs and libraries their developers produce to handle millions of visitors a month to their great newspaper website.

Ractive.js is a new JS framework for interactive document that comes out from Guardian Newspaper development team. It looks simple yet powerful.

I am running through their great tutorial and so far I am impressed by its simplicity.

This looks like a great replacement for Angular.JS in many cases. Well done.
